Student Council

The Student Council (STUCO) is designed to work loosely with the Texas Association of Student Councils to create a better understanding of the democratic process, and to encourage more student participation through promoting citizenship, scholarship, positive relationships, and cultural values that our heritage may have even greater worth for the next generation.

We will be actively involved in many activities throughout the year including Homecoming, Pink Out, 5th Quarters, alcohol and drug awareness, red ribbon week, Veteran’s Day, working in the concession stands, eliminating bullying, welcoming staff and students, freshman orientation, overseeing student elections, promoting anti-drug and alcohol awareness, campaigning for safe driving and clit it or ticket it, the Carter Blood Drives, and giving back to the community by helping with the Thanksgiving meal, attending district and state conventions, and fundraising.
