I have been teaching for 27 years, and this is my 15th year in Moody. My family and I love it here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I love to stay busy by looking for ways to enhance life here at Moody ISD and providing opportunities for students to find and enjoy new ways to excel!
I grew up in Bedford, Texas, and graduated from L.D. Bell High School and earned my B.A. from Howard Payne University. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University. (I highly encourage everyone to go after this goal!) I have been married to my high school/college sweetheart (Coach Perk) for 29 years. We have two amazing daughters and one son-in-law, that keep us loving life!
