Leadership Team, Design Team, Advisory Board

The P-Tech Academy design/leadership team includes personnel with decision-making authority who meet regularly to discuss and make decisions regarding campus operations.  Team members disseminate information within each organization including the district, the IHE, and business/industry partners. Regularly scheduled meetings address the following topics:

1. Identification of members and the role each member will play in the design, governance, operations, accountability, curriculum development, professional development, outreach, sustainability, and continuous monitoring and improvement of P-Tech
2. Assumption of shared responsibility (between the school district, industry partners, and the IHE) for meeting annual outcomes-based measures and providing annual reports to their district and IHE boards, as well as to the public
3. Monitoring of progress on meeting the P-Tech Blueprint, including reviewing data to ensure the P-Tech is on-track to meet outcomes-based measures
4. Guidance for mid-course corrections as needed
5. Identification and implementation of sustainability structures to address and minimize the challenges of staff turnover and potential fluctuations in funding

Advisory Board

The P-Tech Academy Advisory Board includes representatives from a variety of stakeholders including the school board, community, higher education, business and industry.  The Advisory Board meets regularly to provide support and guidance to the P-Tech Academy in resource acquisition, curriculum development, work-based learning and student/community outreach to ensure a successful academic and career pipeline.
